A Fence Event Where You Build, Fish, and Race
The episode centers on an upcoming fence-industry demo event near Orlando that is being designed as much more than a traditional expo. Brian T. Frederiksen and his team describe a two-day experience where attendees can tour exhibitor booths, network with manufacturers and distributors, and also take part in hands-on activities like building wood and chain-link fence components, assembling a Cat 5 gate, driving and pulling posts, fishing, and trike racing. The event is positioned as a family-friendly industry gathering that blends education, entertainment, and networking. The discussion also highlights the event’s timing and location advantages. Scheduled for March 26–27, the demo days are close enough to Disney World that attendees could stay at a resort and turn the trip into a family vacation after the expo. The team mentions a growing list of vendors and sponsors, including Orlando Hinge Company, Soul Fence, Cat 5, NW Quickpull, US Hammer, Slat Warehouse, Fence Armor, Mr. Fence Tools, Eagle Fence Distributors, Father and Son Fence Supply, Gregory Fence, One Tap Connect, and more. The tone emphasizes that this is becoming a major, community-driven “fence event” for the industry.
