(398 words)Okay. So, I went ahead and asked John. I said, "Hey, what do you do when you get to the the end of one of these spools?" And he said, "We call Jacob over here and he uh you do some what do you call it? Butt welding or welding?" Yep. So, explain that what that's going to be, what that actually means. I mean, you is it actually a welding process or is it smashing it? It's like a little spot welder type thing. It just holds it and as you hit it, it pushes it together and just spot welds it right together. So you take you just take that one the start of a new roll and then the end of an old roll. Put them together like this. Let me make sure I have my settings right.
They all put in here. Then you take this right here, switch it to zero, which welds it, pushes that together when you weld it. So you want to do that. And there you go. She's welded together right there. Wow, that is really cool. And then we do this. We heat treat it and it um basically makes sure the weld holds and sticks stronger. So it actually heats it up. Heat up for just a little bit. And then we go ahead and grind it down so it runs through the machine nice and good. All
Right. So, once it looks pretty good, just take this some galvanized pen, glue that so it doesn't rust or anything like that. Get it all covered good. That's basically how you do it. There you have it, you guys. Jacob, that was awesome. Looks like you've done that a few times, right? Just a few. In all fairness, you guys, we uh we came over here and had him. He wasn't ready to do it. We we asked him to do that for us, but hey, Jacob, thanks a lot, man. I appreciate to prepare. Yeah, we gave him like 10 seconds to prepare for that. So, wow, that was really cool. There you go. If you ever wondered, they don't even have to shut these machines down ever. 24/7. They just uh when they get to the end of a spool, they just splice it in. And it's not spliced with a knot. It's actually welded in.
